This is a high quality direct bolt in replacement/upgrade speaker set for the original 6 ½” OEM speaker in the base cabinet and 5 inch left backbox speaker in Williams pinball games. (For older games with 6 ½ inch left backbox speakers order the SP-6.5 and SP-6 speakers separately.) These are heavy-duty units with much better frequency response and higher power handling capability than the original speakers. The base cabinet speaker features a polypropylene turbo-twist cone and the same extra large magnet design for high efficiency as our PRO models. It has a 4-ohm voice coil rated at 100 watts IHF and 200 watts peak so you don’t have to worry about loss of performance or potential burnout. The terminals fit the original spade connectors in the base cabinet. Soldering may be required to install the left backbox speaker to the original wiring. If your game just needs new speakers, and you don’t want the Pinball Pro™ Sub-woofer system, then this kit will get your game back on track and sounding better too. Note the comparison picture below shows this upgrade speaker, the original OEM speaker, and the Pinball Pro™ Sound System Sub-Woofer. This upgrade speaker does not include any networking or volume control features of our Pinball Pro™ Sound Systems. Don’t risk damaging your expensive amplifier board by using home-audio or automotive speakers that may not meet impedance requirements.
